The Persian or the Arabian Gulf?
This reservoir is known in the Arab world as the Arabian Gulf, while in the countries of Latin civilization and Iran as the Persian Gulf.
Do you know that…it is one of the hottest places in the world, with daytime temperatures of up to 45°C.  Also the water in this shallow bay can heat up strongly.  The whole basin is about 1000 km long and on average about 200 km wide. It connects to the Arabian Sea through the Strait of Hormuz and the Gulf of Oman
